What would you say to your ex?

so my boyfriend broke up with me about a month ago, and i'm still so not over him. i still have strong feelings for him. we didn't have the best relationship, we fought alot and he was kinda a douche bag sometimes,but the good out weighed the bad. he broke up with me over a text. and a couple weeks ago we made up and we're now friends like we used to be. it just sucks because i know he wouldn't considering dating again and it hurts to be friends, but i don't wanna loose him you know. so i asked him if we could talk so maybe i could get closure and finally get over him and not feel guilty when i talk to other guys and constantly think about him. but i am so scared. and i'm not really sure how i should go about this. any ideas in what i should say?
