Boyfriend help needed?

my now ex for the past year and half has left me because his family told him to not be with me ever since he proposed and been friends for 10 years. He still lives at home and ignores me all the time he rarely speaks to me only when he wants too. He text me last week saying he was with family and wished I was there with him. But he still continues to ignore me. He told me he loves me but I am not sure how true he is to that word. He still won;t give me closure s to why he left me. I love him still and lost many dating oppertunties because i cry and can only see him across the table when I do go out.I have tried moving on but it does not work for me. I really don;t know if he is coming back or not. Is there any way of knowing if he won;t tell me. ? I'm so confused and lost. How do I make him see what he has lost after choosing his family over me. they liked me until he proposed. we have been friends for 10 years. and we both are 37 years old. Since then I moved to Florida and tried moving on with my life. I feel so love lost.
