Is there something blocking my adams apple?

I've had swollen tonsils for about a 2 years, and im noticing that my adams apple is being pushed over to the other side of my neck. I try to swollow and i can tell that it wants to go back over to the middle of my throat, but somethings blocking it. What could this be?
