Since God knows the future, did He know that satan was gonna ruin the world?

How God originally planned a perfect world until satan tempted Adam and eve and brought sin to this world, for all the murder and crimes, atheism today, Did God know all this was coming? Was his plan for to design a perfect world, then a devil to come along and tempt people, and to try to get people to purify? Did he plan satan?
