What to Wear with a Peasant top.?

I bought a white peasant top from Fashion Bug last month and I don't know what to wear with it. It's loose and flowy with a nice detail on the front with a tie closure on the neck. And what about shoes, I have no clue about that either. I feel like I've lost my sense of style. If this was 10 yrs ago, I'd know exactly what to put with it. My black skirt doesn't seem right, my dress jeans don't feel right either. I just feel at a loss.
